EVENTS: SALES MEETINGS & FASHION SHOWS

DR. MARTENS AIRWAIR USA

BACKGROUND

Dr. Martens has two national sales and marketing meetings each year during which leaders from the U.K. head office introduce the U.S. staff to the latest styles. 

 

I was in charge of organizing all aspects of the meetings and accompanying fashion shows, including site selection, F&B, housing, A/V, staging, music, design, entertainment, models, samples, point-of-sale items, and sales training materials.

 

CHALLENGE

To produce events that were energetic and inspiring, while also being educational and of a professional level appropriate to our world-class brand.

 

SOLUTION

I planned every aspect of the meetings with meticulous attention to detail and steady communication with all stakeholders.


RESULTS

All meetings and fashion shows went off without any major hitches. The fashion shows were originally performed during the sales meetings in the daytime but were so successful that I was later able to move them to a music venue in the evening, followed by a band and open to the public.
