BOOTH LOGISTICS
CHALLENGE
After an exhibiting hiatus of 10+ years, my client, the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO) aimed to establish a presence at the AAO 2023 Expo in San Francisco, requiring expert management of booth logistics to maximize their impact during the event.
SOLUTION
As Decibel, I took charge of booth logistics, including design, production, orders (electrical, F&B, graphics, furniture, A/V, etc.), and onsite installation, dismantling and management; and created a social media wall and props to heighten interaction. The comprehensive management approach covered all aspects of the exhibit, ensuring a seamless presentation and engagement with attendees.
RESULTS
The successful execution of the ABO’s eye-catching orange and blue booth significantly enhanced the Board's visibility among industry professionals, fostering valuable connections and reinforcing its stature within the ophthalmology community. The booth allowed the ABO to meet with delegates and walk them through the certification process with much greater ease and success than the tabletop exhibit they’d had 10+ years previously.
The ABO rehired me to plan and manage their booth again at AAO 2024, to be held in Chicago in October.
